Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at National Express LLC. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in diesel engines and related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in diesel engines and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard
• Identify and report any additional maintenance or repairs required
• Record time spent, parts used, and repairs conducted on appropriate forms

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
• Diagnostic, electrical, and AC skills are essential
• Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required
• Previous fleet experience and familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems are desirable
• Ability to use good judgment and decision-making skills
