As a Field Sales Manager, you will oversee and enhance the profitable distribution of a diverse array of Briggs & Stratton products through consultative selling to clients within a designated region.

Your role will involve managing client expectations through adept conflict resolution skills and securing customer orders while effectively conveying, implementing, and executing all relevant company initiatives to clients.


Your responsibilities will include:

Presenting sales and marketing strategies to secure new and existing orders from clients; fostering business relationships with both new and established customers.

Ensuring a high level of service and communication with clients through a regular and consistent call schedule, which includes both phone interactions and in-person visits.

Identifying and recruiting new clients based on market potential and company objectives.

Collaborating with assigned management and support teams as necessary for consistent, open communication, customer support, implementation of company initiatives, and achievement of regional and corporate goals.

Meeting regional targets and objectives based on a strategic business plan; maintaining and updating this plan as necessary.

Managing and reducing sales costs through efficient customer ranking, routing, planning, and expense management.

Reviewing and analyzing sales and marketing data to drive sales, assess customer needs, and provide forecasting insights; communicating trends and opportunities.

Encouraging the sell-through of customer commitments through advertising, planning, execution of group advertising campaigns, and promoting individual customer advertising and effective merchandising practices.

Performing additional duties as assigned.

You are the type of individual who possesses: Comprehensive knowledge of the equipment industry and green energy standards and solutions.

Ability to strategically manage a large territory effectively.
Capability to analyze sales trends to identify alternatives that will maximize sales opportunities.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of individuals.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in sales software systems, word processing, and spreadsheets.
Ability to work independently; strong organizational skills.
A commitment to continuous improvement through training.
Capability to manage business schedules and territory travel efficiently.
Fluency in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 70%.
Ability to safely load, secure, and operate company trailers regularly. Capability to tow and back up small towable equipment.
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Compensation:
$95,000 per year + Sales Incentive Plan + company vehicle.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of three years of experience in a sales or customer service environment.
