Customer Service Representative

Penn State Transportation Services is seeking part-time Customer Service Representatives to assist with all aspects of the parking operation on campus. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for event operations, including sales, controlling access, and assisting during student arrival and departure. You will also assist customers in campus parking decks with payments at pay-on-foot machines or at the entrances and exits, answer intercom calls from campus parking decks, and answer phone calls or reply to customer emails with the assistance of full-time staff.
This is a part-time position, with opportunities to work 10-20 hours per week. Many of the hours are based around events, which happen a few nights each week during the fall and spring semester, and include Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's Hockey, all Rec Hall athletic events, Football, Bryce Jordan Center Events, Spikes Baseball and more. Most hours are outside or within the campus decks.
Starting pay is $14 per hour, with raises up to $16 for supervisory positions. No experience is required, but we are looking for customer service and basic office skills.

Campus Security and Crime Statistics
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review.
