Job Overview

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Wiring Technician to join our team in West Chester, Ohio.

Compensation

The estimated hourly salary for this position is $25.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

As an Electrical Wiring Technician, you will be responsible for installing electrical wiring systems, including switchgears, UPS, panelboards, lighting, switches, outlets, and transformers. You will also ensure that conduit installations comply with electrical codes.

  • Install electrical wiring systems, including conduits, wires, and cables.
  • Ensure conduit installations comply with electrical codes.
  • Install ladder cable trays and basket cable trays.
  • Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware, connecting wiring to them.
  • Install power feeders to equipment.
  • Install branch circuits.
  • Inspect electrical systems to ensure proper installation meets code requirements.
  • Install low-voltage/control wiring.
  • Terminate power feeders, branch circuits, and control wiring.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to read blueprints.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable in the NEC Code.
  • Must be able to read and speak English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of formal apprenticeship preferred, and electrician's license preferred.
Work Environment

This is a full-time opportunity with hours from Monday to Friday, 5am-1:30pm.
