We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Endoscopy LPN Technician to join our team at Eastern PA Gastroenterology & Liver Specialists.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory surgery setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. As an Endoscopy LPN Technician, you will be responsible for assisting during procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Procedure Room Assistant:

  • Assist gastroenterologists during procedures, including endoscopies and other diagnostic tests.
  • Participate in pre-procedure preparations, such as setting up equipment and ensuring patient safety.
  • Record vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.

Equipment Maintenance:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including endoscopes, autoclaves, and sterilizers.
  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of procedure rooms and equipment.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly.

Patient Care:

  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and responding to emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Licensure and Certification:

  • A valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • CPR/BLS certification.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in endoscopy, critical care, or PACU settings.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and infection control guidelines.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Regular use of hands and arms for tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, PTO, and paid holidays.
