Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work activities of professional and technical staff
  • Organize and coordinate department activities through effective assignment of responsibilities and delegation of authority
  • Provide direction and motivation to assigned personnel
  • Monitor and evaluate department personnel, providing management coaching and guidance as needed
  • Initiate progressive disciplinary action as necessary
  • Monitor and evaluate systems and processes, initiating changes and improvements to ensure operational efficiency
  • Ensure quality assurance standards are followed and quality control tests are performed as required
  • Communicate with administration, medical staff, employees, and other departments to coordinate efforts and address problems or concerns

Requirements:

  • FL RN License
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications
  • Minimum Two (2) years' experience in an acute care setting
