We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at LewisGale Physicians Cardiology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or 12 months of direct clinical patient care experience
  • Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials highly preferred
