**Job Overview:**

As a Work Order Administrator at Orca Bay Foods, LLC, you will play a critical role in the production process by accurately costing work orders. This involves gathering costs of raw materials and ingredients, calculating volumes of finished goods, and applying standard processing rates. You will also allocate costs between multiple finished goods and ensure compliance with company-specific costing rules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cost accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be working closely with the accounting team to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintaining accurate records.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathering costs of raw materials and ingredients from the accounting system
  • Calculating volumes of finished goods using the manifesting system
  • Applying standard processing rates to work orders
  • Allocating costs between multiple finished goods
  • Ensuring company-specific costing rules are followed
  • Reconciling quantities between work orders, third-party cold storage inventories, and inventory in the accounting system

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing accounting
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

**Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
