About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment in Iowa.
Job Description
The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and technical support. The role involves working closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Develop and implement protocols for optimal image quality and patient safety
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and make informed decisions
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in interventional radiology
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Interventional Radiology
- 1+ year of experience in Interventional Radiology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including HIPAA and OSHA
