Speech Language Pathologist

Reno County Educational Cooperative is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the instructional program and providing services to students with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Student Assessment and Intervention
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans to address communication disorders and promote student success.
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including speech and language therapy, to minimize the adverse impact of communication disorders.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff to ensure that services are meeting the needs of students.
- Record Keeping and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, including progress reports, activity logs, and billing information.
- Prepare and submit reports to administrators and other stakeholders as required.
- Professional Development
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Kansas State Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with students with communication disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary will be based on education and years of experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also available.
