Job Description

At StubHub, we're on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global scale. Our Payments Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our payments processes, disputing and tracking chargebacks, and informing our product strategy to deliver the best experience for both buyers and sellers.

We're seeking a seasoned professional with a strong analytical mindset, excellent people management skills, and a bias for action to lead our Payments Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building new processes, solving complex problems, and driving operational excellence in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and track performance of team workflows using current metrics and improve upon them as needed.
  • Create and implement new workflows to improve team operational performance and success.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team execution, quality, and success.
  • Lead performance and development review cycles for team members.
  • Conduct one-to-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, resolve issues, and support professional development.
  • Closely track individual performance metrics and understand their impact on team metrics.
  • Provide feedback on new payments and chargebacks products and maintain or improve current chargeback metrics.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Natural curiosity to spot, break down, and resolve problems.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive with available tools.
  • Flexibility to work during weekdays and weekends as required.
  • Track record of building new processes and solving problems from scratch.
  • Proficiency with Excel and basic SQL experience or willingness to learn.
