The Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Solution Consulting to lead our pre-sales team in the US State & Local Government and Education (SLG&E) business. This leadership role will be responsible for defining strategy, orchestrating team alignment, and engaging in sales pursuits while setting clear goals for the organization to support business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and leading pre-sales teams, with experience working with customers in the SLG&E vertical. They will possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interact at multiple levels, from Enterprise Architects to CXO's.

The successful candidate will also have a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities, as well as the ability to clearly articulate the value it brings to customers. Additionally, they will be able to manage change and ambiguity with an action-orientation and drive, thrive in a dynamic environment, and balance short-term and long-term objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of managers and individual contributors in the SC organization, with strong customer engagement, ServiceNow knowledge, and sales/pre-sales acumen.
  • Develop and grow the team's capabilities in Solution Consulting, by evaluating talent, understanding skills requirements and gaps, and devising plans to meet the evolving needs of the business and our customers.
  • Closely partner and engage with the Sales leadership team to ensure a cohesive strategy for execution and the ability to articulate this strategy to the broader sales ecosystem within ServiceNow and our partner community.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in building and leading pre-sales teams, with demonstrated ability in leading and coaching employees with varying levels of experience.
  • Experience working with customers in the State & Local Government and/or Higher Education vertical, preferably in a pre-sales leadership capacity.
  • Ability to collaborate and interact at multiple levels, from Enterprise Architects to CXO's.
  • Understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities, with the ability to clearly articulate the value it brings to customers.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $190,725 to $314,775, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
