Job SummaryThis is a $65,000 - $85,000 per year full-time opportunity for a Licensed Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all nursing care prescribed and provided to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide services in accordance with nurse practice act and state/federal nursing center regulations.
- Work with the Director of Nursing to provide direction and oversight to the care staff regarding the resident's needs.
- Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission, periodically per regulation, and at change in resident physical or psychosocial condition.
- Administer and document medications in accordance with the five rights: right medication, right route, right resident, right time, and right dose.
- Supervise and monitor medications for residents who self-administer if applicable.
- Document all pertinent/relevant observations, red flags, incidents, interventions, communication, clinical procedures, and daily medication assistance/care throughout the shift as indicated.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current state license for LPN or RN is required at all times.
- 1+ years of nursing experience preferred but new graduates are welcome.
- CPR and BLS certification preferred.
- Be able to demonstrate proficiency in Internet browsers (e.g., Explorer, Chrome, and Fire Fox), Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word and Publisher, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and any HR related systems if applicable.
