Job Overview: We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team. This role involves performing diagnostic tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, and promoting a culture of safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform moderately complex diagnostic tests and limited high complexity testing
  • Maintain preventative maintenance on select laboratory equipment or instruments
  • Troubleshoot issues with laboratory equipment or instruments
  • Promote a culture of safety for patients through proper identification, reporting, documentation, and prevention of medical errors

Qualifications: To be eligible for this role, you must have an Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, or equivalent education and training. One year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience is preferred. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency is also preferred.

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
