About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy expertise to join our team at our Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center. As a specialist in Advanced Endoscopy Gastroenterology, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and utilize your skills in ERCP, EUS, enteral stenting, and EMR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient consultative and endoscopy services through an internal referral system in a collegial environment that allows for work-life balance
  • Conduct routine endoscopy and colonoscopy, and participate in Gastroenterology hospital call
  • Provide care with a mix of virtual and in-person patient visits
  • Access to state-of-the-art endoscopy equipment
  • Support a call schedule where call is divided equally amongst all providers
  • Provide inpatient coverage at affiliated hospitals
  • Work with an experienced support staff
  • Opportunities for leadership positions within the medical group if desired
  • A physician-friendly EMR system
Requirements
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
  • Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants

The starting annual salary for this position is $525,000, which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
