Industrial Assembler I Job Description

Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Assembler I to join their team in Alachua, FL. As an Industrial Assembler I, you will be responsible for assembling large and heavy parts to complete sub-assemblies and drilling rigs using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components using power and hand tools based on BOM & Lean System
• Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools
• Check power and hand tools for correct operation
• Follow instructions and report assembly problems to Lean system and Supervisor
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Handle other tasks as assigned by Team Leader or Supervisor

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some mechanical and/or electrical background
• Knowledge of basic hand tools
