Job Description:UCHealth's Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner First Assist for our Level I Trauma Center at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO.Salary:$51.75-$69.61 hourly (dependent on relevant experience), with opportunities for bonuses and benefits packages that include retirement plans, exceptional health and welfare benefits, generous CME allowances, paid malpractice, and more.Key Responsibilities:• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans• Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in trauma and acute care surgeryRequired Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:• A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program• Unrestricted licenses to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Colorado• Certification from a recognized professional organization (e.g., NCCPA or ANCC)• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red CrossBenefits:As a member of our team, you can expect:• Competitive salary and bonus structure• Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage• Generous CME allowance and paid time off• Opportunities for professional growth and development• Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance• The chance to work with a talented and diverse team of healthcare professionalsAbout UCHealth:We are an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer committed to making all employment decisions based on valid requirements.
