We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. Located in the Tampa Bay area, our hospital serves Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties, offering a range of specialty services including surgical, oncology, and thoracic surgery.

Job Summary

This ER Registered Nurse position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of patients through triage, screening, preparation for examination, general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions. You will also instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintain and review patients' records, and administer medications as ordered by physicians.

Requirements
  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure;
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred;
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred;
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification;
  • American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer;
  • American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and/or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certifications required within 6 months of hire/transfer;
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions;
  • PC skills;
