Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Patent Paralegal to join our legal team at Manaflex, a leading provider of cutting-edge solutions for mass-producing flexible printed circuits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent law and be able to work closely with our attorneys to manage our patent portfolio, draft and file patents, and support litigation efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage patent portfolio and conduct prior art searches
  • Draft and file patents with the USPTO
  • Work side-by-side with attorneys on in-house business affairs and litigation
  • Support commercial contract deal flow
  • Serve as trusted legal advisor to Chief Legal Officer and Executive Leadership

Requirements:

  • Certification or associate's degree in paralegal studies (bachelor of science degree in engineering is preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably in a large firm and/or in-house legal department
  • Investigative mind and strong legal research skills, particularly in patent law
  • Experience in preparing legal reports, documentation and reporting
  • Excellent understanding of legal procedures and terminology, particularly in patent law
  • Excellent communication, writing, and time management skills

What We Offer:

At Manaflex, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is remote-friendly, allowing you to work from home.
