About the Role

Coulee Bank is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Universal Teller. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting banking services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to customers, answering their questions and resolving their concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Product Promotion: Identify customer needs and promote banking services and products to meet those needs, increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Account Management: Open, maintain, and close customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Cash Handling: Manage and balance a cash drawer, maintaining accurate records and adhering to bank policies and procedures.
  • Community Involvement: Participate in community events and activities to promote the bank and build relationships with customers and the community.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent desired.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive customer service or banking experience, with a focus on customer service, transaction processing, and product promotion.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak concisely and accurately describe transactions. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage a cash drawer.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of bank policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements for financial transactions.
