Forensic Engineer

H2M Architects + Engineers is seeking a skilled Forensic Engineer to join our team. As a Forensic Engineer, you will conduct thorough investigations to determine the cause and extent of structural failures, water intrusions, and other building-related issues.

• Conduct forensic inspections and investigations to analyze damage and determine the cause and origin of structural failures, water intrusions, and other building-related issues.
• Research and apply engineering principles and practices to support evaluations and assessments.
• Provide detailed reports outlining the cause and origin of damage to clients.
• Manage multiple projects and ensure timely execution.
• Communicate with clients and staff to provide project updates and timelines.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering or architectural experience, with at least 1 year of forensic engineering or building condition assessment experience.
• Experience working with insurance companies and law firms is preferred.
• Strong analytical and field inspection skills are required.
