Job Summary:
As a Speech Therapist II, Inpatient, On Call, you will provide diagnosis and treatment of complex communication disorders for adults and children. You will ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements, oversee the work of entry-level staff, and support community programs.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests to identify communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
Provide individualized treatment plans to adults and children, collaborating with physicians as needed.
Train junior therapists and participate in developing inservice programs for staff development.
Monitor the work of contract therapists and the treatment of patients in non-Kaiser facilities.
Serve as a consultant on interdisciplinary teams and develop department policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
National Provider Identifier and Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
Basic Life Support required at hire.

Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
