Shannon Health is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, providing critical care services that make a real difference in their lives.

About the Role

This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $73,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As an Advanced Respiratory Care Specialist at Shannon Health, you will be responsible for performing advanced respiratory therapy procedures on patients with a wide range of needs and physical abnormalities. This may include administering medications, operating various types of medical equipment, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong educational foundation in respiratory therapy, including graduation from an accredited program. Additionally, you should hold certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and possess Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications are also required for RRTs assigned to the NICU.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • RRT certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications (for NICU assignments)
