We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Ascension Seton in Austin, Texas.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our healthcare organization. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring seamless transitions of care.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign management.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective transitions of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, location, and performance.
