About Monte Nido Rain Rock and Eating Disorder Center of Eugene

We offer a comprehensive treatment approach that focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement.

Our treatment approach is designed to help clients achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment teams at our Eugene and Springfield programs.

The anticipated schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, with the therapist working at both locations during the week and Saturdays at the Rain Rock program in Springfield, OR.

Responsibilities
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy
  • Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
  • Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
  • Providing safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the client's intersecting identities
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum
  • State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
