Business Development Manager for Healthcare Partnerships

As a Business Development Manager for Healthcare Partnerships, you will play a vital role in supporting our Payor Strategy Team. The successful candidate will report to the Vice President, Payor Strategy, and be responsible for managing the contract portfolio for Aspen Dental.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop effective relationships with insurance companies to negotiate favorable contracts.
  • Monitor financial performance of assigned agreements and address issues or policy changes promptly.
  • Streamline communication related to insurance to ensure efficient processes within the organization.
  • Manage contract implementation, execution, and communication throughout the organization, including communication with Aspen Providers.
  • Act as an expert resource on escalated contractual issues and resolve high-level compliance and customer-related concerns.
  • Monitor contract performance and provisions to assure compliance, identify problem areas, and resolve disputes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6-8 years' experience related to healthcare contracting, with direct exposure to contracting required.
  • Broad knowledge of healthcare insurance, provider billing, and reimbursement principles.
  • Excellent verbal & written communications, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, with bonus opportunity.
