About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) to join our team as a Medication Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner, reviewing and documenting resident information, and collaborating with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Review and document resident information, including medication lists and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident medication administration and treatment.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance knowledge and skills in medication management and elderly care.
Qualifications
  • Current LPN or LVN licensure in the state/province of employment.
  • Experience working with seniors and elderly care preferred.
  • Ability to make sound judgments and decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience.
