Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in condition promptly.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care instructions, medication management, and recovery expectations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Current RN license.
  • BLS certification (additional certifications as required by facility).
  • At least two years of recent experience as a Medical Surgical RN.
  • Excellent communication and adaptability skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $1,655.16 per week. TotalMed offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), licensure reimbursement, relocation assistance, continuing education opportunities, and housing support.
