Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and perform tasks with high attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
