Lead the Way in Surgical Excellence

Hartford Hospital is seeking an experienced OR Assistant Nurse Manager to support our surgical teams in delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Operating Room and promoting a culture of excellence within our department.

About the Role:

  • Operational Leadership: Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing daily operations, staff management, and resource allocation to ensure seamless delivery of surgical services.
  • Patient Care: Monitor and improve patient safety, quality, and satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with surgical teams.
  • Staff Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to drive best practices and evidence-based protocols in the OR.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication among surgical teams, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure clear expectations and alignment with hospital goals.

About You:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree and/or relevant certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum two years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably in leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
