Job Title: Producer & On-Air Talent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Producer & On-Air Talent to join our team at Alpha Media. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing and running programming for our FM news team, including news, sports, and traffic reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Entertain and inform our listener audience through engaging on-air content.
  • Conduct on-air news and traffic reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage traffic logs and transmitter readings, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Record and edit ads for commercial clients, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies, creating engaging content for our audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with FCC rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of experience in board operation and update anchoring.
  • Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations.
  • Experience with digital editing software, such as Adobe Audition.
  • Strong digital audio editing skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the broadcast industry, with a focus on radio production and on-air talent.
  • Experience operating automation systems, such as Wide Orbit.
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Facebook, and Twitter platforms.
