Job Title: Machine Operator

Volt Workforce Solution is immediately hiring a Machine Operator in Youngstown, OH. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in high manufacturing, a High School Diploma or Equivalent, and basic PC knowledge.

Salary: $22.34 - $23.34 per hour (pay rate may vary based on factors such as education, work experience, work location, job duties, certifications, etc.)

About the Role:

As a Machine Operator at Volt Workforce Solution, you will be responsible for operating multiple production machines at a time to safely produce high-quality products. This includes ensuring overall equipment effectiveness in accordance with established standards and guidelines, inspecting manufactured products, and following quality protocols when defects are discovered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with safety policies and procedures
  • Understand and operate multiple production machines at a time to safely produce a sound quality product
  • Ensure overall equipment effectiveness in accordance with established standards and guidelines
  • Inspect manufactured product and follow quality protocol when defects are discovered
  • Complete charting and document production activities as required to meet or exceed quality standards
  • Monitor, maintain and adjust machines during continuous production to prevent machine stoppages and minimize waste
  • Operate and/or work around highly automated systems including robotic equipment
  • Understand and ensure compliance of all policies and procedures such as BRC Food Safety Policy, GMPs, HACCP Principle, ISO14001, and OSHA rules while completing work tasks

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in high manufacturing
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic PC knowledge
  • Able to read and interpret drawings, review specifications, review work instructions, and report line performance
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
  • Stand for 12 hours shifts
