Advanced Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Northside Hospital in Lawrenceville, GA. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Job SummaryThe CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computerized tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist and hold an ARRT certification in CT with Level 2 trauma center proficiency. They will work closely with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and ensure accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies
- Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
- Maintain accurate records of scan results and patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in CT scanning
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in CT with Level 2 trauma center proficiency
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
