Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the setup of food & beverage service areas within clubs based on specific event needs.
  • Ensure all clubs are set prior to event.
  • Ensure quality and hospitality throughout all Club areas.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Organize and prepare events.
  • Supervise team members on non-event and event days.
  • Address guest inquiries and direct them to the correct entity or personnel.
  • Maintain food quality and monitor inventory control.
  • Assist management in maintaining policies and procedures, upholding safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for team members and guests.
  • Enforce cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures.
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
  • Supervise the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages.
  • Respond to guest requests and supervise the setup of club functions.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Recognize and address guests who are visibly intoxicated.
  • Enforce all Oak View Group policies and procedures.
  • Practice excellent HR skills, including employee relations, corrective action, coaching, and counseling.
  • Assist the management team with projects, including training, inventory, and special events.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to supervise the work of others.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Basic math skills for POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education.
