The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing staff, and ensuring that all departmental functions run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members.
- Cultivate an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service by working with subject matter experts and other managers.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives, to improve engagement.
- Recommend and implement courses of action related to interviewing, selecting, training new staff, and addressing personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- A registered nurse diploma or associate degree is required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
