New York Congregational Nursing Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing exceptional care for our residents.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care to residents daily and as needed, including grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, and other essential activities
  • Assisting with promoting a supportive and respectful physical and psychosocial environment for our residents
  • Ambulating and transferring residents safely and efficiently
  • Recording vital signs, weights, and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other necessary information

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in NY state
  • At least 6 months of CNA experience
  • Active CPR certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
