Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced RN Clinical Leader to oversee nursing and UAP staff in our Psychiatric Crisis Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, supervising clinical operations, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

This is a full-time position working night shifts, with a salary range of $43-$51 per hour, commensurate with experience. You'll also receive a night shift differential of $4.60 per hour.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead Nursing and UAP Staff: Oversees nursing and UAP staff in documentation, patient care, staffing, and clinical competencies.
  2. Clinical Expertise: Serves as a clinical expert for policies, procedures, documentation, and skills.
  3. Staff Development: Assists in training and development of new and existing staff members, including performance appraisal.
  4. Clinical Operations: Assists in supervising clinical operations.
  5. Communication: Explains why clinical and financial management are important to the organization.
  6. Engagement: Engages in the workplace community by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff.
  7. Safety and Quality: Maintains safety and quality as priorities, providing auditing and education for safety and quality initiatives.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensures regulatory compliance and emergency response preparedness.
Qualifications
  1. Education: BSN Required
  2. Experience: Three years pediatric clinical experience or equivalent combination of education/experience required.
  3. Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  4. Certifications: Current CPR certification required.
