Academic Surgeon Leader

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Surgeon to lead our Acute Care Surgery team as Chief. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, training the next generation of surgeons, and pursuing research interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the care of trauma, emergency general surgical, and critically ill surgical patients
- Help train general surgery residents and pursue research interests
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Acute Care Surgery
Requirements:
- Board certification in General Surgery with additional certification in Surgical Critical Care
- Eligibility for licensure in the State of Vermont and eligibility to work in the United States
- Experience in clinical leadership and a career interest in academic and administrative activities
