Position Overview:
As a key member of our dining services team, the Room Service Cashier is responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for our guests by accurately processing their orders and payments.

Location:
Omni La Mansion del Rio is situated in a prime area, providing easy access to various attractions.

Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Efficiently manage all guest Room Service orders and communicate them effectively to the service team.
  • Handle all revenue-related documentation with precision.
  • Adhere to established service standards and protocols.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, within three rings.
  • Engage with guests by using their last names during interactions.
  • Utilize upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
  • Inform guests about daily specials and menu offerings.
  • Provide accurate delivery time estimates for orders.
  • Process payments and manage checks accurately.
  • Maintain knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including wine selections.
  • Comply with all relevant liability laws.
  • Generate and distribute hotel reports as required.
  • Charge amenities and coffee orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of service trays when necessary.
  • Communicate any issues regarding amenities to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:

  • Prior experience in food and beverage service, particularly in fine dining or hotel environments.
  • Experience in Room Service is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Required certifications: TABC and Food Handler.
  • Experience with cash handling is advantageous.
