We are seeking a dedicated Autism Support Specialist to join our team at Community Services for Autistic Adults & Children.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide direct care and support to individuals living in group residences, promoting their independence and community integration. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as money management, housekeeping, and personal care.
  • Developing and maintaining a safe and supportive home environment.
  • Implementing individualized activity schedules and documenting resident progress.
  • Collaborating with the Residential Program Manager to manage resident funds and teach money management skills.
  • Completing required training and adhering to industry standards for working with autistic individuals.

This is a part-time position requiring weekend work (Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 AM-12:00 AM) with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week.

About You

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a human services field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work).
  • At least two years' experience working with individuals with autism, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to new situations.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in standard business software applications.

In exchange for your dedication and expertise, we offer a competitive salary of approximately $35,000-$40,000 per year, depending on experience.
