Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at MediLodge of Cheboygan. The ideal candidate will have experience in large quantity food preparation and be passionate about creating delicious meals for residents, employees, and special events.

• Review menus prior to preparation and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menus, as well as for employees and special events.
• Create alternative menu items to meet individual resident needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to established policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in food service preferred.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
