Noblis MSD is seeking a skilled Submarine Systems Engineer to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their mission to enable research, development, test, and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.

This role will involve working on submarine auxiliary/machinery systems, including testing and troubleshooting efforts for auxiliary machinery control systems. The successful candidate will have a background in submarine systems and be able to develop, review, update, and execute test plans/procedures.

The ideal candidate will have prior Navy Nuclear training and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They should also be able to read and understand technical documentation and troubleshoot challenging technical issues.

Noblis is committed to providing a hybrid work environment based out of the Philadelphia Navy Yard, allowing employees to balance work and personal life. This position requires 25% travel and DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance being a requirement.

The estimated salary range for this position is $67,800.00 - $118,700.00 per year, depending on education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as location and clearance level.

Responsibilities
  • Support testing and troubleshooting efforts for auxiliary machinery control systems.
  • Develop, review, update, and execute test plans/procedures.
  • Evaluate technical information received from the Fleet.
  • Develop, review, update technical documentation.
  • Provide engineering support for design, repair, installation, modification, maintenance, and operation of systems.
Requirements
  • Prior Navy Nuclear training required.
  • 25% travel required.
  • DoD Secret is desired; the ability to get a Secret Clearance is required.
