Job Description
You will perform installation, operation, and maintenance of COMSEC equipment and software, ensuring they meet security standards. This role enforces COMSEC policies and procedures in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, operation, and maintenance of COMSEC equipment and software, ensuring they meet security standards.
- Enforce COMSEC policies and procedures in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Assess and manage risks associated with communications security.
- Maintain accurate inventory of COMSEC material, including keying equipment and cryptographic keys, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments and external organizations to ensure seamless communication and compliance with COMSEC requirements.
- Investigate and report any COMSEC incidents, breaches, or anomalies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Network Engineer (NE) Skill Level 0.
- The candidate must currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications: Network+ or equivalent approved by customer.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $48,100 - $86,950 annually, based on industry standards and market rates.
