About the Role

This is a high-level position that requires a strong understanding of employee benefits and a proven track record of delivering complex solutions to clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in the employee benefits industry and hold relevant licenses, such as life and disability insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients with complex benefit needs, providing strategic planning and technical expertise to drive business growth.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams to enhance their knowledge of employee benefits and compliance topics.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with carriers on behalf of clients, ensuring optimal coverage and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead client meetings and provide regular updates on renewals, utilization reports, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement employee communications strategies, including renewal changes, enrollment procedures, and benefit clarifications.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s, and Health Care Reform.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Able to define problems and generate potential solutions, with a focus on driving business growth and improving client satisfaction.
