About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Level III to join our team. As a key member of the surgical team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room for procedures, including setting up equipment and instruments.
  • Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the efficient completion of procedures.
  • Participate in the maintenance of a clean and organized operating room environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
