Salary Information

The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $52.16 - $107.90.

Job Description

This role involves providing Interventional Radiology Imaging care to inpatient and outpatient VA patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering the full range of services provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, adhering to VA standards and ARRT Practice Guidelines.

You will perform organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging, including Abdomen, Pelvis, Neuroradiology, Cardiovascular/Extremity, and Vascular. Additionally, you will promote safe and effective diagnostic radiology practices through specific training, skills, and techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing IR Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients
  • Providing services equivalent to those in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility
  • Adhering to VA standards and ARRT Practice Guidelines
  • Promoting safe and effective diagnostic radiology practices
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program
  • ARRT (R) certification; ARRT (VI) is preferred
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • A minimum of two years of proven clinical experience in IR Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
