About the Job

This position involves working as a US Tech in a hospital setting, utilizing your expertise to operate ultrasound machines and produce high-quality images for medical interpretation. You will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and maintaining patient records.

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with 1 year of experience to join our team on a 13-week assignment. As a US Tech, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty, and possess a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

  • Educate patients and/or family regarding procedures performed
  • Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern
  • Prepare exam rooms for examinations and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies
  • Report any abnormalities requiring immediate attention to medical staff
  • Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
  • Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results
  • Maintain accurate patient records

To succeed in this role, you must hold BLS certification, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $80-$120 per hour (based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week)
