Job Title: Information Technology Security Specialist

Location: Addison, TX

Duration: Long-term contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Security Specialist to join our team at Mitchell Martin. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for providing onboarding assistance to application teams, business partners, and risk leaders. You will serve as a subject matter expert on foundational information security controls and provide detailed guidance on IAM processes, procedures, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onboarding assistance to application teams, business partners, and risk leaders
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of IAM standards, including SAML, OAuth, and Open ID
  • Collaborate with application managers to understand their needs and update data within our systems
  • Identify, analyze, and address problems to resolve issues and minimize negative impact and risk to the organization
  • Work independently on initiatives with little oversight, motivated, and willing to learn
  • Develop and maintain strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking
  • Deliver messages across a wide spectrum of individuals with varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Lead and work with peers and various levels of management
  • Develop and maintain strong leadership skills and qualities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
  • Quick learner and self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to question processes for the purpose of improving them
  • Application development and scripting experience skills desired (PERL, JavaScript, Groovy, etc.)
  • Middleware and lower-level server management experience a plus
  • Experience with Web Authentication Management Platforms, ideally performing integration, engineering, or production support
  • Experience with OAuth technologies and solutions
  • Deep understanding of large networks and systems and the interaction between applications, infrastructures, etc.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong knowledge of IAM standards, including SAML, OAuth, and Open ID
  • Web Application Management (WAM) integration experience required (preferably PingAccess)
  • Experience with IAM standards in cloud, such as AWS, Azure, a plus
  • Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight, motivated, and willing to learn
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking
  • Ability to deliver messages across a wide spectrum of individuals with varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Strong leadership skills and qualities
