Medical Specialist for Infusion Therapy

UTMB Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Clinician III TDCJ Infusion Therapy to join our team. As a prominent healthcare provider, we prioritize delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative environment.
About the Role:
This position involves providing expert nursing practices based on the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and skills to meet the standards of competent professional nursing practice as specified in the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of clinical RN experience and be proficient in managing emergency situations commonly seen in assigned specialty populations. As a resource for Nurse Clinicians I or II, you will contribute to the interdisciplinary team's efforts in delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
- Maintain expertise in chemotherapy certification (OCN) and remain up-to-date with relevant industry developments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Foster a culture of excellence by promoting UTMB Health's strategic initiatives and health system goals.
Requirements:
- RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of clinical RN experience.
- Chemotherapy Certification (OCN).
