Job Title: Design Project Engineer I

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Project Engineer I to join our team at QRSE LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects in various sectors, including transportation planning, design, and program management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, including estimating costs, personnel and material needs, and establishing project schedules.

* Maintain effective communication with the project team and stakeholders to ensure project success.

* Draft and submit proposals for transportation projects.

* Manage small projects and lead with assistance a team of engineers, including providing direction, mentorship, and reviewing and approving submittals.

* Coordinate and document meetings, and market the company.

Requirements:

* Proficiency in CAD, preparing, reading, and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and estimates of cost.

* Proficient with various standards and codes such as AASHTO and DOT standards.

* Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and to implement contingency plans as needed to ensure successful project completion.
